When the client approached us, the property was being heated by two outdated electric boilers. Their monthly heating bills soared to over £2,000 and the system was unable to support the amenities at the luxury holiday home, including the outdoor sauna that could not be used reliably.
Our brief was to design and install a new system that reduced costs and, more importantly, improved reliability and future-proofed the property for long-term performance.
Replacing Inefficient Boilers with Modern Heat Pumps
To resolve the issues the client wanted us to tackle, we carried out a full system replacement. We removed the two electric boilers and performed high-efficiency
heat pump installation. The project, completed in just two weeks, included:
- Two 12 kW heat pumps positioned discreetly outside the property
- Three 200-litre hot water cylinders for a reliable hot water supply
- Full pipework and system upgrades to connect the new installation
- Safe removal and decommissioning of the outdated boilers
Since the project was fully MCS-certified, the client was also able to get government funding to help cover some of the costs. As experienced
commercial heating engineers, we ensured the system delivered both efficiency and compliance.
